Phase I: Join us for a transformative series of training sessions in which we will explore drug free ways to feel good in our everyday life, using the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine, simple effective Personal  Energy Management tools and the Core Health Institute ‘CHI Bead’ Ear Acupressure Protocol.

Ear Acupressure using small beads on the surface of the ear is said to decrease anxiety, pain, burn-out, stress and addictions.

 Apply them to yourselves, your family and friends and notice a difference! Results such as relaxation, grounding, increased energy, focus and openness have been reported with the first treatment.

Phase II: Learning new techniques & Refining  your skills

During this training retreat, we will develop your mastery of the theoretical materials, the personal energy management tools exercises and the Chi Bead Protocol. Upon completion of Phase II we will give you your certification, if you are ready.  If you are not ready and want to use this workshop to gain more knowledge and experience, you can meet me, privately to demonstrate your mastery of the materials and get a certificate of completion.
You must attend the phase II retreat to receive a certificate of completion!

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS PHASE II TRAINING

  • Those of you who took Phase 1, please join us to complete your skills. 
  • Those  of you who are interested in repeating the phase 2 are also welcome to join us in order to consolidate and celebrate your skills and get your certification at last! Ask for repeat discount!
  • THOSE WHO COME TO THE CHI CIRCLES!  We encourage you to practice in the CHI Circles.  Before you attend Phase 2, we suggest that you attend the CHI Circles, bring friends and use the circles as an opportunity to practice and confirm your mastery of the CHI Beads protocol. Please practice and record your  private sessions, before this training retreat, so that you can get a certificate of completion.

  WHAT IS THE CORE HEALTH INSTITUTE SELF-CARE PROGRAM?
  • It is an effective yet simple self-care program which provides immediately discernible relief from the symptoms of generalized stress as well as providing support, coaching and training in skills that can be used daily to increase self-awareness, poise, relaxation, emotional, mental and energetic balance and ease.
  • The CHI BEAD Ear Acupressure protocol consists typically of 1-7 small mustard- type seeds or magnetic pellets that are taped to the ear.
  • The CHI BEAD Protocol uses acupressure instead of acupuncture on the surface of the ear.

HOW DO CHI BEADS WORK?

    WHAT MUST I DO? HOW LONG DO THEY STAY IN MY EAR?
    • The seeds or pellets work alone and seeds can be gently pressed daily for increased effectiveness. Pellets can be applied to alternate ears to allow the skin to rest. They should be removed after 5 days, in order to avoid the possibility of skin irritation. Do not use on broken infected or inflamed skin
    HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
    • Improvement seems to be ongoing. 6 weeks of continuous treatment, seems to establish a change that can often be felt over a long period of time. Because they are so effective, many chose to use the pellets repeatedly.
    WHAT WILL I FEEL?
    • Great! Is what most people would answer. The CHI BEAD protocol is used in many different settings, and results differ with individuals. The specific points are sometimes sensitive when palpated and can remain so for a few days after seeds are applied.  Results such as relaxation, grounding, increased energy, focus, and openness, as well as reduction of cravings and insomnia are often experienced with the first treatment.


    IS IT SAFE?
    • It can be safely used by anyone, anywhere, and similar protocols have been used to help:

    These weekly meetings provide a relaxing ear acupressure treatment for participants, as well as training based on the timeless traditions of both Chinese Medicine & Western Transpersonal Psychology in the following: 

    • Stress management /Drug free pain relief
    • Self-care for common ailments
    • Weight management/Healthy lifestyle choices

    Conducted by veteran acupuncture therapist & health educator, Esther McCormick, the group dynamic is a vital element of the "CHI Bead" Ear Acupressure Self Care Training Course. Participants support each other in recreating wellness through awareness of their core potential and inner body wisdom. They learn to do acupressure, to meditate, to re-program their stress responses & to make wise lifestyle choices. Because CHI Ear Beads stay taped to the ear for days at a time, participants feel good and their general health improves.
