                                                             Are you looking for me?
You will find me in the smallest house of time
                                                                                       - the breath within the breath
                                                                                                                                  Kabir

PRESENCING

These exercises are based on connecting our active consciousness or Shen to the Jing 'ursprung Källen' or lifespring of innate body wisdom patterned into the core of our somatic functioning, the original pattern that forms and sustains the homeostasis of our Being.

Using the breath, our connection to the autonomic system, we relax deeply and take our non-judgmental attention to each aspect of body-mind, and we just watch or observe how we 'are 'there. We move from head to toe. The attention is like sunshine, the breath is like the fresh spring breeze as we open the windows in the rather abandoned house of our Being. Energy flows where attention goes. We relax into remembering our core state of consciousness, connection and continuity.
We can allow release of stale or stagnant energies into the earth, as we discover them
We can invite in fresh invigorating energies and or lights as we choose to experience them, from the sea of Qi or Life Energy that surrounds us.
We conclude by giving thanks and celebrating our sustaining connection to Heaven and Earth and the all sustaining Source of the Universe, by centering our attention in  Crown,Third eye, Heart, Hara and Heels.

ASKING THE BODY

If we discover, while ‘presencing’, areas of extremely stubborn blockage, pain stagnation, depletion, or dysfunction, we can simply focus by holding the area & connect to Source by using whichever technique works for us, for example, F/O (holding our forehead), Deep Breathing, listening to our heartbeat, and then:

  • Ask the Core Awareness of the Body: Do we have permission to work with this? What is our present stress level around this issue? Is it distorting our access to our Core Reality? Cutting off access to our Real Self?  Disturbing the unfolding of our Destiny?
  • We can refine the question by asking: Do we need to do something first?   Do we have the resources we need to work with this now? Is it safe and appropriate?
If Yes we can ask:

WHAT IS THE CAUSE?

  • Which aspect/s of being is affected? Which door is open to affect change?  (social, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual)?

  • Is it about now? Can we work in present time?

  •  Is it about something in the past?
If in the past: When did it begin? What is the Age of cause? (you can count backward)

WHAT IS OUR STORY ABOUT THE CAUSE:

  • How did it begin?
  • Who and what was involved?
  • What did we feel
  • What do we feel now about connecting to that event?
  • Is it appropriate to work with our earlier self?

2. WHAT IS THE CURE/RESOLUTION?

We can refine the question by asking:

  • Do we have permission to work with this?

  • Can it be treated in past or present time?

  • Is there something we haven't faced?

  • Is there something we haven't accepted?

  • Must we release something?

  • Must we open to receive something?

  • Do we need help?

  • What do we need? Where and when do we need it?

  • Can we open to receive what we need directly from the Tao/ Universe/Creator, the field of infinite potential at Source ?

  • If something from the past, Do we have a gift from the love and wisdom that we are now for the younger aspect of ourselves? Can we give/receive it now?

  • If we were working in the past, Can we bring ourselves up to present time with our gift?

  • How do we choose to experience this now?

  •  What level of stress do we carry now? Is this resolved?

3. CLOSE

We always close by observing changes, celebrating and giving thanks
Please note that this is a powerful technique and an important daily practice for those who aspire to become 'Practitioners of Shen Jing Acupressure, or followers of the Tao, Those who chose to make every life experience an opportunity for self-cultivation and movement toward realization of their innate destiny. It is imperative to maintain integrity by constantly clearing the channels, releasing old patterns and opening to the miracle of the moment

The goal is to be increasingly ' present and aware' in each moment. ....
